Photographer's note: The sweeping, graceful sand dunes at White Sands National Monument are unlike any others I've seen. The colors become especially soft and rich close to sunrise and sunset. This photo was taken after a hike of several miles across isolated dunes and just moments before the sun dropped below the horizon.

* The image is printed in a 12"x18" size on archival quality Semi-gloss photo paper using ChromaLife 100 archival pigment inks. After a drying time of 24 hours, the print is mounted on acid-free foam board and overmatted with white 100% rag (archival) mat board.
