Photographer's note: The last days of Fall are often dramatic both in their contrasting colors and in their striking simplicity. While photographing the rushing waters created by a late Fall rainstorm, I watched as a gentle breeze blew this single leaf onto a rock lit by the sun. And, I was aware that in that single moment, all the four elements of Nature were present: the solid rock of the Earth, the gentle Wind, the Fire from the warm sun, and rushing Waters.
