Location: Frijoles Creek, Bandelier National Monument, NM
Collection: Landscape Water Feathers
Camera: Nikon D80. Lens: 50mm
Photographer's note: The Frijoles Creek begins in the mountains of Bandelier National Monument and feeds into the Rio Grande river. Close to its source, the water is nearly crystal clear. While hiking along the creek on a cool Winter day I discovered this feather laying peacefully atop a group of beautifully colored rocks, all lit by the sun, as the clear water flowed quickly around them.
