Historic Entrance to Union Train Station
Columbus, OH

rule
Comments:
Starting in the mid-1800's Columbus Ohio served as a hub for various railroad lines that carried freight and passangers throughout the United States. The Union Station built in 1851 served as the city's passenger terminal until 1977. Although the terminal is no longer standing, its graceful entranceway serves as a reminder of the rail lines importance in helping establish this city.
