Highlands Nature Sanctuary, Highland County, Ohio
As an outdoorist who spends extensive time in Nature I know that the landscapes take on a unique beauty only seen during the night. After days of planning and scouting locations, the perfect combination of weather, light, time of year and Fall colors came together to help create this scene of moon light revealing the shapes and colors of the hills and trees in Southern Ohio. Highland Nature Sanctuary is part of a non-profit organization called Arc of Appalachia. This dedicated group raises funds to purchase, conserve and protect land from future development all across southern Ohio. [Photo 0062]
