Only moments before sunset, a brightening sky following an all day rainstorm revealed a landscape of mountainsides and tree filled valleys with their leaves painted in a full palette of rich fall colors near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Only moments after making this photo the entire scene was completely hidden by a dense bank of fog. [Photo: BIN0102]
