I’m always drawn to lone trees on the landscape. Perhaps it’s how they stand out against the horizon that so quickly draws my eye or that sometimes causes me to consider how they’ve survived where others could not. This beautiful tree was the only one visible for several miles around as I drove through farm country in Western Ohio. The stunning cloud formation in the background made it an even more beautiful and memorable scene. [Photo 10143]
