Yosemite Dawn, Yosemite National Park, CA
Perhaps the most photographed location in Yosemite National Park is Yosemite Valley, the home to well known sights such as El Capitan, Half Dome and Yosemite Falls. A rapid drop in temperatures in late fall created a dense fog that filled the valley during most mornings for weeks on end. Because of the dream-like quality fog can add to a scene, I used it to create an image that conveyed the softer and more colorful features of the valley and it’s well known sights. [Photo 5983]
