A 1,000′ predawn climb through dense fog and over ice covered rocks in the Narrows section of Zion National Park led me to an overlook I had noticed days before that had been lit brilliant sunlight the previous morning. As the sun crested the horizon a gentle wind helped the fog begin dispersing and swirl and as it caught the first rays of sun, the light appeared to dance in a captivating way.e. [Photo 8575]
