Salt Fork Lake, OH
Salt Fork Lake weaves through the center of Salt Fork State Park in eastern Ohio. The 3,000 acre lake is home to the longest inland beach in the state. It is a popular home to Osprey, Red-shouldered Hawks, Kingfisher, Spotted Sandpipers and occasional herons. After spending days watching the sunset over the lake this heron landed and stood on the shore watching sunset and became silhouetted by the last glowing light of day. [Photo 10278]
