Description
Hocking County OH
I’m always drawn to lone trees on the landscape. Perhaps it’s how they stand out against the horizon that so quickly draws my eye or that sometimes causes me to how they survive where others could not. This beautiful tree was the only one visible for as far as my eye could see as I hiked through a rural landscape on a cloudy moonlit night in Hocking County. The blue tones in this photo occurred because of the way light on snow intensifies certain colors like blue while absorbing others, especially in moonlight. [Photo 2057]
