Description
Zion National Park, UT
While hiking in the dawn hours on the edge of Zion National Park and in 10°F (-9.4 °C) temperatures I discovered this small cabin surrounded with snow from a recent storm. As sunlight emerged, the cabin and nearby trees became painted in brilliant orange/red colors while the distant mountaintop held me in awe as steam from the cold air striking the warming earth took on the look of a forest fire.
