The final rays of sunlight on a late Winter day cast dark long shadows in the snow from the colorful old growth trees deep in the Tahoe National Forest in northwest California. To keep the details as sharp as possible in the final print, this panorama was made from four individual photographs each capturing roughly one-quarter of the photograph.
