Highlands Nature Sanctuary, Bainbridge, OH
I spent days in mid-September photographing across several rural counties with the biggest display at Ashy Trail at Highlands Nature Sanctuary. What most caught my eye on these trips were vast fields of gorgeous sunflowers and also seeing some starting to drop their petals. They caused me to realize that Fall was only a few weeks away and how Nature is such a perfect predictor of changes that are on the way. This photograph is a tribute to those flowers and the realization of all Nature offers us. [Photo A-2312]
