White Sands National Park, NM
A predawn hike from my backcountry camping location brought me to this remote sand dune at White Sands National Park in New Mexico. This sunrise photograph of an elegantly shaped dune was made as the sun crested the horizon and the first rays of daylight painted deep warm colors along the edge of this dune. [Photo 8688]
