SI always feel an excitement when exploring a marsh, pond or wetlands area. For me, these are mysterious places where you can discover wildlife, plants, reptiles and other creatures hidden by tall grass or within water. They are also places sometimes filled with humidity and fog that’s perfect for capturing dreamy photos. Each state in the US has marsh areas and Ohio is no exception. Places like Killbuck Marsh, Great Egret Marsh and Beaver Marsh are some of my favorite places. After five trips to this one marsh area and waiting patiently for something to happen near sunset nature gifted me with this beautiful egret gently landing just as a beautiful red sun was falling below the horizon.
